On 5th September 1999 there was a solemn procession from the Sanctuary of Our Lady in remembrance of the Coronation as Patron and Protector of Recco. The Quarter men carried the silver chest on their shoulders though the streets of Recco in a tribute of faith and devotion.

On 7th May 2000, for the Jubilee meeting of the Ligurian Brotherhoods, the Chest of Our Lady of the Intercession had the privilege of closing the solemn procession though the streets of Genoa's historical centre, carried by the Quarter men on their shoulders. On this occasion the flag of the Quarters opened the procession, brought by the Quarter little girls.
